The Emergence of Spiral Butterfly
Greetings and merry met!
On August 22nd, 2002, I awoke with one crystal-clear idea: Create a Pagan/Earth Spirituality book club.
For days...no, weeks...I had been trying to find a way to reconcile my love of reading, my love of writing, and my love of my community in some meaningful way. I had thought of a "typical" book club, but I didn't have the resources required to launch such a project.
I found myself looking at my extensive library, and after replying to still more emails asking for suggested reading titles, I realized that this was a way I could "give back" to the community. But how to do it?
I meditated that night on my dilemma, and the answer came to me in a dream so vivid it could not be ignored. An online, interactive book club, one that could be designed in such a way as to allow even those who are in the "broom closet" to participate in safety.
Thus it was that in the morning, Spiral Butterfly was created. I hope it becomes as special to you as it is to me.

So who is this person behind Spiral Butterfly, anyway?
My Craft name is S. Tifulcrum, and I've been a semi-solitary, public, highly eclectic Wiccan (with certain Discordian tendencies)for more than a decade. I'm a mom, a wife, an activist (Pagan rights/education), a writer, a writer, a student, and a photographer...among many many other things.
